What’s Included?

Each month includes a fun, educational letter written and designed by a full time wildlife photographer and tour guide based in and around Rocky Mountain National Park. No Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used in the writing of our letters, field notes, or postcards. All photographs used were taken by the author and all drawings are derived from our original photographs.

These letters are perfect for inquisitive kids and wildlife enthusiasts of all ages. They are age-checked to ensure letters are between a 5th and 7th grade reading level making this a great gift for readers of all ages.

Your Questions, Answered

Getting started is simple. Choose a monthly or annual subscription to Letters From Rocky for you, your kids, grandkids, or anyone you feel would appreciate this thoughtful gift and checkout using Square’s secure card processing system.
Letters From Rocky is written and designed by a professional wildlife photographer and tour guide who spends at least 300 days a year in the field. Every letter includes our photographs and is personally written by the author - never stock photography or AI generated photograhs. Additionally, we include a QR code on each issue linking to an audio recording of the letter, a gallery of photographs, and additional information that extends the learning!
Each month’s letter will feature an animal, characteristic, or species from the Rocky Mountains. Elk and mule deer, velvet and function, and individual animals that we’ve been photographing for years are all planned for future letters.
You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email (info@lettersfromrocky.com). If you’ve subscribed you can also edit your information through the customer account section of our website.
If you subscribe by the 15th of a given month, your letter will be sent by the 5th of the next month. If you subscribe between the 16th and the end of the month your first letter will be mailed by the 15th of the next month.
Example:
Sign Up June 1st to June 15th – July’s Letter Mailed by July 5th
Sign Up June 16th to June 30th – July’s Letter Mailed on July 15th
We’re committed to ensure you get your letter! Since we rely on the US post office (and international post offices if applicable) to deliver mail we can’t guarantee the occasional letter doesn’t get lost or destroyed in transit so if you haven’t received your letter within 7 days of the expected mailing date please email us at info@lettersfromrocky.com and we’ll mail another letter out to you ASAP.
There may be cases where mail is undeliverable to specific addresses due to problems with the post office. In these rare cases we’ll happily offer to cancel and refund your subscription for any letters not received or send the letters to an alternative address that can receive mail sent using a first class stamp.
Please contact us via email at info@lettersfromrocky.com‍ or use the contact form on our website. Please provide your old mailing address and your new address so we can match your name and address to verify your account.
You’ll be able to cancel your monthly subscription at any time by logging into your account at lettersfromrocky.com. Subscriptions cannot be refunded, however you can turn off automatic renewal for your subscription.
Monthly plans can be canceled anytime for future renewals, but charges already made are non-refundable.
Annual prepaid plans are non-refundable. If you don’t wish to renew please turn off auto renewal before the subscription renews.
Lost or damaged mail will be replaced as soon as possible but if an address is undeliverable your account may be cancelled and a prorated refund issued for any pre-paid letters not received.
The author has been a wildlife tour guide and wildlife photography workshop guide operating in Rocky Mountain National Park under a Commercial Use Authorization for several years however Letters from Rocky is not officially connected to Rocky Mountain National Park and we are not sponsored or affiliated with them for these letters.
